Perfect Relationships .!?
Sorry to bust it for you.
There are NO perfect relationships, at least not in real life.
Hey, don’t let the Novels or Movies fool you. They have it all scripted. It takes them thousands of takes to have that one perfect shot. Surprisingly they forget to consider just one factor while writing or filming those perfect stories i.e., LIFE.
Yes, life can get in your way of having that perfect relationship. Because duh! You have your life also. You have to work, give time to your family, friends, to yourself. Your life can’t just revolve around that one person as we have seen in the movies growing up. That’s a SCAM.
The base of your near-perfect relationship lies in having that strong friendship. That person needs to be your best friend before becoming your Boyfriend or Fiance or Husband. Yes, you have to be able to do all the crazy things together and not just the romantic stuff. That person needs to be the one you turn to for all the inconvenience.
The relationship is near-perfect when today’s fights don’t stop you from talking the next day with the same excitement. That’s what you should look for my friend. You have to be their biggest cheerleader and supporter. Don’t let petty issues like late replies get in the way of having that near-perfect thing.
But yes amid all this support and making that relationship near-perfect, don’t forget about your life. It’s always a two-person Job to make that relationship near-perfect. You don’t have to be the only one making all the efforts. Let the other person spoil you too from time to time.
You know, there is no definition or a full-proof formula on how to make a relationship perfect. Only two things matter-
- Never ever involve a third person in your relationship.
People should know you are in a relationship but not about your relationship.
Now, if you already have a relationship. Congratulations!
If you are looking for that someone, Good Luck :) I hope you find your better half soon.
And, if you are heart-broken and think all relationships suck, I am sorry it was a bad experience for you. But hey, at least now you know what you don’t want in a relationship. Isn’t that a good thing?
Wait for the person who is on the same level of crazy and you will start believing in the goodness of relationships again.
It’s never bad to have someone who can support you and push you to your maximum potential. Someone who can teach you about new things without making you feel dumb or bad about yourself. Someone who can hustle with you and have the same fire to put their career first. I am sure that we all are past having those meaningless and kiddish relationships and should look for something with real potential.
Don’t Worry! We all will get that near-perfect relationship soon.
